Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is situated within the Development and Communication department, which consists of 12 members. The intern will report directly to the Digital Reference and will work synergistically with other members of the team, as well as with other departments within the organization. The primary functions of the internship include the creation, production, and publication of digital content, assisting in the production of content for the organization's social media channels while adhering to guidelines and editorial lines. This involves writing scripts, filming, video editing, and project management with external service providers. The intern will also create visuals and infographics, support the publication of produced content on social media, and contribute to project monitoring related to digital supports. Additionally, the intern will assist in analyzing performance metrics and preparing monthly reports on social media, ensuring continuous monitoring and producing benchmarks on trends and best practices in the humanitarian sector. The internship aims to provide insights into the functioning of an NGO's headquarters and its relationship with field operations, familiarize the intern with the various roles within SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL, and enhance their skills in web marketing and social media within a multicultural environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Creation, production, and publication of digital content, including writing scripts, filming, video editing, and project management with external providers.
  • Assisting in the production of content for the organization's social media channels while adhering to established guidelines and editorial lines.
  • Creating visuals, infographics, and other digital materials.
  • Supporting the publication of content on social media platforms.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of social media content and preparing monthly performance reports.
  • Conducting continuous monitoring and producing benchmarks on trends, developments, and best practices in social media and the humanitarian sector.
  • Assisting the digital team in implementing various missions, including updating the website and managing newsletters.
  • Engaging in occasional external travel for meetings, filming, or events as required.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
  • A higher education degree (minimum bac +3) in Communication or Marketing.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to produce high-quality content.
  • Proficient technical skills in web-related tools, including social media platforms, desktop publishing tools, content management systems (CMS), search engine optimization (SEO), and office software.
  • Fluency in both French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a dynamic and curious attitude, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • A genuine interest and motivation for working in the non-profit and humanitarian sectors.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and email marketing platforms is appreciated.

Educational Background:
Candidates should have a higher education degree, specifically at least a bac +3 level, in fields related to Communication or Marketing. This educational background is essential to ensure that the intern has the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to perform effectively in the role.

Experience:
While specific prior experience is not explicitly required, candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of communication and marketing principles, particularly in digital contexts. Any previous internships or volunteer experiences in related fields would be advantageous and could enhance the candidate's application.

Languages:
Fluency in French and English is mandatory, both in written and oral communication. Proficiency in additional languages would be considered a plus, as it may enhance communication with diverse stakeholders and communities.

Additional Notes:
The internship is set to begin in April 2026 and will last for a duration of 6 months. The position is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL in Clichy-la-Garenne, Ile-de-France, France. The internship allows for remote work for 4 to 12 days per month. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, filming, or events. The intern will be classified as a trainee and will be required to have a mandatory internship agreement. The legal compensation will be 15% of the hourly social security ceiling, calculated based on actual hours worked each month (approximately 154 hours per month, equating to 22 days of 7 hours each). Public transport costs will be reimbursed at 50% by SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL, and meal vouchers worth €8.90 per day will be provided, with a 60% contribution from the organization.
