Job Overview: The Digital Knowledge Management System Testing and Support Analyst will play a crucial role in the effective rollout of a Digital Knowledge Management System (KMS) designed to monitor, evaluate, and manage knowledge related to FAO programs in the Asia-Pacific region. This position involves collaborating closely with FAO Country Offices and project teams to ensure that the KMS is effectively implemented and utilized. The analyst will be responsible for reviewing the KMS design, developing informative materials, and supporting the onboarding of users and projects. The role requires a strong understanding of digital systems and the ability to engage with various stakeholders to promote organizational learning and accountability. The analyst will also be tasked with identifying system issues and suggesting improvements to enhance usability and functionality, ensuring that the KMS meets the diverse needs of FAO's interventions.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Digital Knowledge Management System Testing and Support Analyst include: reviewing the KMS design, structure, and features; developing written and presentation materials to inform stakeholders about the system; supporting the design and execution of a country rollout strategy; engaging with country office and project staff for onboarding; assisting users in setting up projects in different environments; managing access for various roles; reviewing project setups and configurations; identifying user and system issues; maintaining project rollout plans; and performing other related activities as required. The analyst will also be responsible for ensuring that the KMS effectively tracks project spending and aligns with program-level indicators, contributing to the overall success of FAO's initiatives in the region.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in fields such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, Knowledge Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related area. Additionally, candidates should have relevant experience in digital system implementation, system testing, user support, and access management. Specifically, at least 1 year of experience is required for Category C, 5 years for Category B, and 10 years for Category A. Full proficiency or working knowledge of English is mandatory, and candidates should demonstrate core competencies such as results focus, teamwork, communication, building effective relationships, and knowledge sharing.
