Job Overview:
The position of Asistencia Técnica Desarrollo e Imp.Tableros SIINSAN involves providing technical assistance for the design, development, and implementation of public access dashboards for data and statistics related to the National Information System for Food and Nutritional security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security (SIINSAN). This role is part of the UNDP project aimed at improving the quality of public spending in food security and nutrition. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that the dashboards are user-friendly, accessible, and effectively communicate important data to stakeholders. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, design the dashboards, and ensure that they meet the needs of the users. The position requires a deep understanding of data visualization, public health, and nutrition, as well as the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the requirements for the dashboards, ensuring they meet the needs of users.
  • Design and develop user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate data and statistics related to food and nutritional security.
  • Implement the dashboards using appropriate technologies and ensure they are accessible to the public.
  • Conduct training sessions for stakeholders on how to use the dashboards and interpret the data.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the dashboards, making adjustments as necessary based on user feedback.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to the development and implementation of the dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with UNDP policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the dashboards post-implementation.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Strong understanding of public health and nutrition data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with UNDP policies and procedures is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data visualization.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public health, nutrition, data science, or a related discipline is required. A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred and may be considered an asset.

Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data visualization, public health, or nutrition-related projects is required. Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is highly desirable. Proven track record of successfully delivering similar projects is essential.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the position requires communication with local stakeholders. Proficiency in English is considered an asset and may be beneficial for accessing international resources and documentation.

Additional Notes:
This position is offered as an individual contractor role, and the contract duration will be specified upon selection. The role is expected to be full-time, and the consultant will be required to work closely with the UNDP team in Guatemala. Compensation will be based on the consultant's qualifications and experience, in accordance with UNDP's policies.
