Job Overview:
The Import Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating and monitoring all international imports for the Palestine mission. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and compliant pre-clearances, customs processes, and the transport of goods. The Import Manager serves as the primary liaison with various stakeholders, including authorities, UN mechanisms, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Import Manager's duties include coordinating all international imports for the Palestine mission, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and managing pre-clearance procedures for new grants. The role requires developing and maintaining a strong network with key stakeholders, including local authorities and UN bodies, to optimize import processes. The Import Manager must also monitor corridor accessibility and regulatory changes, ensuring that documentation is accurate and timely. The salary is competitive, starting from EUR 2310 gross per month, which includes a base salary and an annual leave allowance. Additionally, a monthly Per Diem of USD 750 is provided, along with coverage for accommodation costs and travel expenses. The organization implements a system of alternating work and time off, allowing for breaks every three months, with an additional rest day granted for each month worked. Expatriates benefit from a comprehensive insurance package covering healthcare expenses, including medical, surgical, dental, and repatriation costs.
