Job Overview:
The position of Chargé d'Appui aux Programmes involves providing support to the program pool and missions in managing project contracts and reporting. The role requires participation in the production of operational data compilations, such as Activity Progress Reports (APR), and involves tracking contracts and reporting deadlines. The individual will assist in the preparation, review, and submission of reports to donors, project proposals, and contracts. Additionally, the role includes supporting missions and the pool in managing administrative files, such as translations, and ensuring the timely submission of monthly APRs, both narrative and quantitative. The Chargé d'Appui aux Programmes will facilitate information exchange within the pool, with missions, and with other departments at the headquarters of Action contre la Faim. The position also entails drafting meeting minutes, internal and external communication documents for missions, and managing purchase requests for the pool. The individual will archive documents by country and donor, participate in organizing and filling out documents on the No Hunger Forum platform, and contribute to transversal projects, including monitoring projects and reporting deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Chargé d'Appui aux Programmes include:
  • Providing support to the program pool and missions in managing project contracts and reporting.
  • Assisting in the production of operational data compilations, including Activity Progress Reports (APR).
  • Tracking contracts and reporting deadlines.
  • Aiding in the preparation, review, and submission of reports to donors, project proposals, and contracts.
  • Supporting missions and the pool in managing administrative files, including translations.
  • Controlling and facilitating the submission of monthly APRs, archiving them, and transmitting them to Technical Operational Referents.
  • Facilitating information exchange within the pool, with missions, and with other departments at headquarters.
  • Drafting meeting minutes for various strategic meetings and ensuring their validation and dissemination.
  • Writing internal and external communication documents for missions, subject to validation by the Regional Operations Director. 1
  • Managing purchase requests for the pool. 1
  • Archiving documents such as project proposals, contracts, and reports by country and donor. 1
  • Participating in the organization and completion of documents on the No Hunger Forum platform. 1
  • Contributing to transversal projects, including monitoring project timelines and reporting deadlines, and improving collaboration between the pool and missions.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must be enrolled in a master's level program, ideally in project management or international solidarity. A sensitivity to the humanitarian sector is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple missions simultaneously. Strong organizational skills are required, as well as excellent teamwork, autonomy, rigor, and good written and oral communication abilities. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory, and candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in both French and English.

  • The position is based in Montreuil, IDF, and offers a stipend of 4.57 euros net per hour, based on a 35-hour work week. The weekly working hours are set at 38.75 hours, with 21 days of RTT (reduced working time) prorated based on the time spent in the organization. The organization also provides days off for exams, university research, etc. Additionally, 50% of public transport costs are covered. The position allows for remote work, with a policy that defines activities requiring mandatory presence at headquarters. The role requires a minimum of four days per month at the headquarters, with additional days allocated for collective sharing, including an average of three days per month for meetings and events, and two days of mandatory presence during the first six weeks of integration into the team.
