Job Overview:
The Information Technology coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Support Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of IT services within WFP. This position involves coordinating and guiding IT maintenance and support activities, providing technical support for ICT initiatives, and ensuring compliance with WFP’s IT standards and operational procedures. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing, configuring, and deploying end-user devices, conducting ICT assessments, and following up on project-related support requests. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including government institutions, to enhance the overall IT service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will carry out various duties, including but not limited to: conducting system and hardware maintenance tasks to ensure technology operates effectively; monitoring technology reliability and user needs; analyzing data to produce reports that recommend IT solutions; resolving IT queries independently; providing standard technical training to end-users; guiding junior colleagues in IT support services; coordinating new application implementations; drafting technical documentation; implementing improvements to IT methods and processes; coordinating installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems; managing a team of IT staff; and following emergency response processes to support food assistance needs.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong customer service mindset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to support end-users effectively. They should demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes. Additionally, candidates should have experience analyzing IT service performance and developing recommendations for service delivery enhancement, as well as experience supporting ICT activities related to operational projects with internal and external stakeholders.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is the completion of secondary school education, along with a post-secondary certificate in a related functional area. This educational background is essential for understanding the technical aspects of the role and for providing effective IT support.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least six years of professional experience in IT support, administration" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">system administration, infrastructure, and networking management. This level of experience is crucial for ensuring that the incumbent can handle the complexities of IT service delivery and support within WFP.

Languages:
Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of French is considered an added advantage, as it may facilitate communication with a broader range of stakeholders and partners.
