  • This paid internship is designed for undergraduate and graduate students who may not have extensive professional experience and who are exploring conservation as a potential career path. The intern will work closely with the Program Operations team to enhance the knowledge management system in SharePoint and improve training modules. The role requires creativity and attention to detail, as the intern will be responsible for transforming existing intranet and Teams sites into visually appealing and user-friendly platforms. The intern will collaborate with senior directors and subject matter experts to create graphics, layouts, and other visual assets that enhance the user experience while ensuring clarity and integrity of the information being presented.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be tasked with several key responsibilities, including: designing and producing high-quality visuals and content for intranet and Teams sites, organizing and restructuring backend files to ensure logical and user-friendly navigation, creating graphics, infographics, and layouts for various training formats such as e-learning modules and presentations, ensuring that all designs align with training objectives and branding guidelines, maintaining consistency in design across different training modules and sites, revising and updating visual elements based on feedback from internal stakeholders, and assisting with any other design-related tasks as needed to support the Program Operations department.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. However, students from other disciplines are encouraged to apply.
