Job Overview: The Online Volunteer position is designed to support the national outreach efforts for the International Year of the Volunteer (IVY) 2026, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security and the United Nations Volunteers (UNV). The primary function of the Online Volunteers will be to raise public awareness about the Department of Social Development and Welfare (DSDW) Platform, which facilitates formal volunteer registration and documentation of volunteering activities across Thailand. Duties and Responsibilities:
Share approved campaign materials, including graphics, flyers, videos, captions, and key messages on personal social media platforms to promote IVY 2026 and the DSDW Platform.
Encourage peers, networks, and organizations to submit their volunteering activities via LINE or Google Form.
Maintain a posting frequency of approximately 2-3 posts per week.
Track and report basic engagement metrics such as likes, shares, comments, and clicks on a weekly basis using a shared Google Sheet.
Adhere to all posting, reporting, and branding guidelines provided by the Office of the National Commission on Social Welfare Promotion and UNV.
Participate in a mandatory online orientation session at the start of the assignment.
Coordinate a group of 10 online volunteers, ensuring consistent and timely posting of their activities.
Support group members in posting their work regularly and meeting deadlines.
Assist in translating content into local languages if necessary. 1
