Job Overview:
The Caseworker position at the IRC is crucial for aiding refugees and qualified immigrants in achieving a successful resettlement experience. Duties and Responsibilities:

The Caseworker will also be responsible for promoting IRC values and adhering to IRC policies, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients and staff alike.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Caseworker position should possess an undergraduate degree, ideally in Social Work or a related field. Comparable work experience may be considered as a substitute for formal education. Relevant work experience in the human services field, particularly within a non-profit or social services agency, is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of direct service experience with underserved communities, with prior experience working with refugee populations being highly preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills are also required.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for the Caseworker position includes an undergraduate degree in Social Work or a related field. Candidates with equivalent experience in human services may also be considered. The working environment for the Caseworker position is a mix of standard office work and hybrid work, with regular travel required in and around the service delivery area. The role necessitates being in the office for three days a week, with the possibility of providing services outside of traditional work hours, including evenings and weekends. The compensation for this position ranges from $26.00 to $27.00 per hour, with pay rates based on various factors such as labor market conditions, job type, and individual candidate experience.
