Job Overview: The BRIDGE Acquisition & Advertising Undergraduate Intern position at WWF is designed to support strategic efforts aimed at expanding engagement and acquisition with bilingual Spanish/English audiences across the United States. This internship provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to gain hands-on experience within a data-driven marketing team. The intern will work closely with the Acquisition and Advertising team, under the supervision of the Paid Media Manager, to understand campaign strategy, audience insights, and integrated marketing approaches. The role involves collaboration with various teams, including marketing, membership, creative, analytics, web, email, and content, to explore how coordinated channel strategies can drive awareness, engagement, and growth for WWF's conservation initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will conduct market research focused on understanding bilingual Spanish/English audiences in the U.S., including their media habits, cultural considerations, and channel preferences. They will research and develop case studies of campaigns and major brands targeting generational and bilingual audiences, as well as explore non-profit tactics, creatives, and strategies for reaching diverse audiences. The intern will collaborate with teams to gather historical audience insights and campaign results related to bilingual audiences. They will utilize research, WWF-specific audience data, historical performance, and recent social/advertising trends to develop and pitch a campaign that includes recommended audiences, channels, language, and creative concepts. Additionally, the intern will present their research, insights, and recommended strategies to the marketing and membership teams.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Public Relations. Previous internships or coursework related to marketing or communications would be beneficial but are not strictly required.
Languages: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred but not required. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in both languages to engage with diverse audiences and contribute to outreach efforts.

The position is flexible in terms of location, allowing the intern to work from Washington DC or other states, with the exception of Hawaii, Kentucky, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Wyoming.
