Job Overview:
The Monitoring and Reporting Analyst will work under the supervision of the Women’s Economic Empowerment Programme Specialist. This position is crucial for monitoring and reporting on the activities of the project 'Strengthening of Productive Units led by Women with a Gender approach in Bolivia,' funded by KOICA. The analyst will provide technical support for the implementation of the Country Office strategic note and will be responsible for ensuring that the objectives set by UN Women in the Economic Empowerment Area are met while adhering to quality standards. The role involves integrating monitoring and reporting processes within the project, developing monitoring indicators, and conducting field visits to assess project progress. The analyst will also be tasked with preparing internal and external reports based on Results-Based Management (RBM) and will contribute to the overall monitoring and tracking of results against country and regional goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Monitoring and Reporting Analyst will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including: facilitating the integration of monitoring and reporting within the project; developing monitoring indicators and schedules; conducting field visits to monitor project progress; leading the development of baselines, studies, and reports; managing KOICA’s monitoring tool; providing technical support to partners in developing Performance Monitoring Frameworks; communicating results to internal teams and stakeholders; adjusting monitoring approaches as needed; preparing reports based on RBM; coordinating with the Women’s Economic Empowerment team for standardized data collection; monitoring partner data quarterly; visiting partners to support results monitoring; contributing to corporate reporting; providing technical support for briefing documents and presentations; facilitating capacity development opportunities; and promoting awareness of shared accountability for Monitoring and Evaluation among staff.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles. They should demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in their approach to work, as well as creativity in problem-solving. Professionalism and self-management are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. A strong commitment to gender equality and women's empowerment is also required, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, gender studies, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant area would be an advantage. Candidates should have a strong academic background that supports their understanding of gender issues and development practices.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, project management, or a related field. Experience working with international organizations, particularly in the context of gender equality and women's empowerment, is highly desirable. Familiarity with Results-Based Management and experience in developing monitoring frameworks are also important.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication in Bolivia. Proficiency in English is considered an asset, as it may be necessary for reporting and communication with international stakeholders. Knowledge of indigenous languages spoken in Bolivia would be a plus, enhancing communication with local communities.

Additional Notes:
This position is a full-time role based in La Paz, Bolivia. The contract duration is not specified, but it is expected to align with the project timeline. The role may involve occasional travel within Bolivia for field visits. Compensation includes a monthly subsidy of 12,470.84 BOL, a sign-on bonus of 2,744.84 BOL, and severance pay of 771.26 BOB accumulated monthly during the volunteering period.
