Job Overview:
The Cleaner position within the OSCE Mission to Moldova is a temporary role that involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the mission's premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring that the working environment is safe and pleasant for all staff and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization, as well as the ability to work under the supervision of the Chief of Fund Administration and the National Procurement/Materials Management Officer. The Cleaner will be expected to perform their duties efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall operational success of the mission. The position may involve daily appointments or short-term monthly appointments, depending on the mission's needs, and candidates should be prepared for flexible working arrangements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Cleaner will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities that include but are not limited to: dusting furniture, cleaning doors, windows, toilets, and sinks; mopping, washing, or vacuuming floors and carpets; emptying waste bins and ensuring cleaning equipment is well-maintained. The incumbent will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing countertops, sinks, and appliances, operating and unloading the dishwasher, and maintaining coffee machines, kettles, and microwaves. Additional duties include cleaning dishes and utensils, emptying the refrigerator of expired items, collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables, and monitoring kitchen and cleaning supplies. The Cleaner will prepare meeting rooms by setting up necessary items and serving beverages or light refreshments for visitors. They will also maintain plants in common and meeting areas and report any maintenance issues such as leaks or broken fixtures. The role may require performing other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess primary education and have at least one year of experience in cleaning premises or offices. They should demonstrate the ability to use general cleaning and household equipment effectively. Good communication skills in both Romanian and Russian are essential, as the role involves interaction with a diverse group of individuals. The ideal candidate will be a resident of the Republic of Moldova and should exhibit gender awareness and sensitivity, integrating a gender perspective into their tasks and activities. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, respecting cultural, religious, and political diversity, is crucial for this position.

Educational Background:
