The volunteers will play a crucial role in amplifying the campaign's message under the theme 'Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls'. This role requires creativity and experience in social media design, as the volunteers will be responsible for creating branded materials that align with UN Women’s branding guidelines. The volunteers will also develop a short, creative online quiz that aligns with the IWD messaging and campaign objectives, contributing to the overall goal of raising awareness and promoting the rights of women and girls.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Online Volunteers will engage in several key tasks, including:
Discussing and defining the campaign’s target audience, objectives, and intended outcomes with the Communications Team.
Creatively designing branded social media materials (3-5 visuals) using Canva for IWD, which may include static posts, story-format visuals, and campaign banners.
Developing a short, creative online quiz that aligns with the IWD messaging and campaign objectives, utilizing key messages and background materials provided by UN Women.
Coordinating closely with the Communications Team through email and virtual meetings as needed to ensure alignment and effectiveness of the materials produced.
Ensuring that all materials produced are in English and adhere to UN Women’s branding guidelines.
Understanding that all produced materials will be the intellectual property of UN Women and may be used in future promotional materials.

Proven experience in social media design and content creation, particularly using design tools such as Canva.
