Job Overview: The Analyst, Immunization position is crucial for supporting WJCF’s Immunization Programme in Bihar, which aims to enhance immunization outcomes through data-driven decision-making and programmatic support. The role involves providing analytical insights and programmatic support to the Immunization team, focusing on improving management, governance, service delivery, and supply chain aspects of the routine immunization program. The Analyst will work closely with the Program Manager and will be responsible for delivering critical insights, developing reports and presentations, and fostering relationships with stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making. The position requires a strong commitment to excellence, independence, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams while being flexible to adapt to the dynamic needs of the program.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Analyst will support the Immunization team in various capacities, including:
Implementing the routine immunization program by enhancing management, governance, service delivery, and supply chain aspects.
Providing insights to program leadership to aid in policy, strategy, and implementation decisions.
Developing high-impact reports and presentations for donors.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and communicating key findings and recommendations.
Conducting data analytics and creating user-friendly dashboards and performance reports for program review meetings.
Conceptualizing and coordinating program monitoring and evaluation in collaboration with program leadership.
Documenting program progress through reports, presentations, and proposals for internal and external dissemination.
Traveling on short notice to project locations as guided by program leadership.
Undertaking additional programmatic activities as requested by program leadership.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in public health, management, economics, engineering, computer science, statistics, operations research, or related fields. A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a results-driven environment is required, preferably in public sector, consulting, investment banking, pharma, or insurance analytics. Project management experience for medium to large-scale analytics projects is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), PowerBI, QGIS, STATA, and excellent analytical and communication skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to handle ambiguity and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Background: The position requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as public health, management, economics, engineering, computer science, statistics, operations research, or allied areas. This educational background is essential to equip the candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively in the role.
Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a results-driven environment. Experience in public sector roles, consulting, investment banking, pharma, or insurance analytics is highly desirable. Prior project management experience for medium to large-scale analytics projects is preferred, as it demonstrates the candidate's ability to manage complex tasks and deliver results effectively.
Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory for this position.
