The role involves working under the supervision of a staff member within CGSS, where interns will have the opportunity to engage in various tasks that contribute to the overall functioning of the section. Interns are expected to develop their skills in drafting, research, and data management while gaining insights into the operations of the United Nations and its conference services.

Additionally, candidates must be computer literate in standard software applications and demonstrate a keen interest in the work of the United Nations, along with a personal commitment to the ideals of the UN Charter. The ability to interact successfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds is also essential, showcasing a willingness to understand and tolerate differing opinions and views. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory for this internship, as it is one of the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Additionally, fluency in spoken and written Thai is required, which is essential for effective communication in the local context.
