Job Overview:
The Programme Support Assistant position is located in the Regional Office for West Asia in Beirut, Lebanon. The incumbent will work under the overall supervision of the Regional Director and the direct supervision of the Programme Management Officer. The role involves a variety of administrative and programmatic support functions aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of the office. The assistant will be responsible for monitoring project proposals, compiling information for reports, proofreading documents, and providing logistical support for meetings and workshops. Additionally, the role includes maintaining social media pages, assisting in data entry and extraction, and coordinating transportation for personnel within Lebanon. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Programme Support Assistant include monitoring the status of project proposals and legal instruments, compiling and organizing information from various sources for reports and meetings, proofreading and editing documents for accuracy and adherence to established standards, providing secretarial and administrative support for workshops and meetings, maintaining social media pages, preparing presentation materials, performing data entry and extraction functions, managing mail and document processing, updating distribution lists, maintaining files and databases, coordinating internal movements within the country, and assisting with the collection and analysis of data for reports. The assistant will also be responsible for handling official transportation and processing documents related to country relations, obtaining visas and permits, and other protocol issues. The role may involve additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a technical or vocational certificate in programme support, administrative services, or graphic design. A minimum of four years of experience in programme support, administrative services, graphic design, or social media is required. Experience in developing branding and visual identity materials, preparing presentations, and producing content for social media platforms is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is desirable, and experience in data analytics or related areas is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and technological awareness in their work.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, a technical or vocational certificate in programme support, administrative services, or graphic design is mandatory. This educational foundation is crucial for performing the various administrative and programmatic tasks associated with the role effectively.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of four years of relevant work experience in programme support, administrative services, graphic design, or social media. Languages:
