Job Overview:
The Senior Migration Health Nurse will play a crucial role in the Migration Health Assessment Centre (MHAC) in Islamabad, under the supervision of the Chief of Mission or Chief Migration Health Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various administrative support procedures within the MHAC, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing document tracking, filing, archiving, and reporting, as well as maintaining a systematic e-archiving system for medical files and test results. The role requires a proactive approach to improving internal control mechanisms and adapting procedures to enhance operational efficiency. The Senior Migration Health Nurse will also liaise with various units within the organization, coordinate staff contracts, and manage procurement and inventory for medical supplies and office equipment. This position demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Migration Health Nurse include: coordinating internal office administrative support procedures; maintaining an orderly storage system for medical documents; providing feedback on staff allocation; implementing improvements to internal control mechanisms; managing the reception of medical documents and updating databases; coordinating with the Resource Management Officer on staff contracts and attendance records; maintaining inventory and organizing procurement of supplies; overseeing the maintenance of the MHAC facility; administering petty cash and ensuring financial reporting accuracy; and participating in budget monitoring and analysis" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">financial analysis. The role also involves performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a high school diploma with at least five years of relevant experience, or a university degree in Administration Management, Medical Administration, or a related field with at least three years of relevant professional experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative support roles, preferably within a medical or humanitarian context. Familiarity with working with refugees or migrants is advantageous, as is previous experience with NGOs or international organizations. Accuracy in data handling and reporting is essential for this position.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a high school diploma or a university degree in a relevant field such as Administration Management or Medical Administration. Candidates with a degree are preferred, particularly those who have specialized training or coursework related to health administration or management.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, particularly in administrative support or similar roles. Experience working in a medical setting, especially with refugees or migrants, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of accuracy in data management and reporting, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Languages:
Fluency in English and French is required, both oral and written. Additionally, working knowledge of local languages is considered an advantage, as it can facilitate communication with diverse populations and enhance service delivery.
