Job Overview:
The Senior IT Officer, Business Solutions (Product Manager) is tasked with leading the vision, strategy, and delivery of next-generation procurement systems that enhance operational efficiency and transparency within the World Bank Group. This role is pivotal in modernizing procurement workflows through the integration of intelligent systems, automation, and AI-driven decision support. The Product Manager acts as a bridge between procurement operations, business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring that procurement platforms deliver measurable value and improve user experience while adhering to fiduciary controls and evolving institutional policies. The position requires a strategic leader capable of managing complex work programs and orchestrating multiple delivery teams to align with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity standards. The role also emphasizes the importance of championing digital transformation across procurement functions, making it essential for the candidate to possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of procurement processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the Senior IT Officer include defining and maintaining a clear vision for modern procurement systems, developing multi-year product roadmaps, engaging with procurement specialists to understand their needs, leading user validation and design reviews, championing AI-driven capabilities, coordinating Agile ceremonies, ensuring compliance with security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security and governance standards, managing stakeholder communications, and driving continuous improvement and innovation in procurement processes. The Product Manager will also be responsible for identifying high-value opportunities for modernization, translating procurement policies into system capabilities, and ensuring that procurement systems align with the organization's strategic goals.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have proven experience in product management, business analysis, or solution leadership within procurement, supply chain, or financial domains. A strong understanding of operational procurement policies and sourcing processes is essential, along with hands-on experience with Agile methodologies. Familiarity with AI-driven systems, low-code/no-code platforms, and cloud-native architectures is highly desirable. Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are required, along with certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or PMP being a plus.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field is required for this position. The educational background should reflect a strong foundation in technology and its application in business solutions, particularly in procurement and supply chain management.

Experience:
Candidates should demonstrate experience delivering large-scale, high-impact digital products in complex enterprise environments. A proven track record of leading modernization initiatives involving AI, automation, and workflow intelligence is crucial. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing dependencies across multiple Agile workstreams is also necessary.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.
