Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will undertake a variety of tasks that contribute to the work of the Sustainable Demographic Transition Section. Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews and compiling data on demographic trends and their implications for sustainable development. Interns will assist in organizing meetings, preparing materials, and reviewing documents for accuracy. They will also develop audio-visual presentations to effectively communicate policy messages and analyze data using statistical software. Additional duties may involve creating content for the section's website and supporting staff with other tasks as needed. The intern will report directly to the Chief of the Section and collaborate with other professionals in the team.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet specific educational requirements to qualify for the internship. They should either be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (second university degree or equivalent) or be in the final year of a first university degree program, preferably in fields related to social studies, demography, international relations, statistics, or human rights law. While professional work experience is not mandatory, a relevant field of study is essential. Proficiency in standard software applications, particularly MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams, is required. Additionally, the ability to draft articles and social media content is desirable, as is experience in designing surveys and polls.

Educational Background:

Preferred fields of study include social studies, demography, international relations, statistics, and human rights law.
