The foundation is committed to fostering a supportive work environment that promotes both personal and professional growth.

Job Overview:
The Senior Program Officer (SPO) for Product Delivery Enablement plays a crucial role in supporting program and product delivery while managing a portfolio of grants and contracts. This position is integral in ensuring that progress is monitored and program outcomes are achieved. The SPO acts as a vital link between various technical areas, managing critical engagement aspects, maintaining relationships, and prioritizing support for strategic opportunities. The role involves leading initiatives, particularly in collaboration with UNICEF's supply division and other relevant program areas, and working with WHO and other Global Health Institutions (GHIs) to support product development, launch, introduction, and scaling activities using a product life cycle approach. This limited-term position lasts for 11 months and does not provide relocation assistance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The SPO will support the foundation's engagement with WHO and partners to enhance evidence-based guidelines aimed at improving efficiency, timelines, and quality. Responsibilities include developing and implementing cross-institutional frameworks and work plans to facilitate better collaboration among GHIs, driving interventions throughout the product life cycle to ensure quality and affordability of new products, and collaborating with WHO and partners to accelerate access to quality health products. The SPO will also strengthen the foundation's understanding of regional procurement agendas, contribute expertise on GHIs' roles in product introduction, and work with Program Strategy Teams to ensure efficient product introduction at the national level. Additional duties include managing a complex portfolio of grants, consulting with partners to enhance project impact, and supporting an inclusive culture within the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess an advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, public health, or a related health field, with a PhD being an asset. A minimum of 10 years of experience is required, primarily focused on access to health products for low and middle-income countries (LMIC), as well as pharmaceutical policies and strategies. Technical experience in the role of GHIs in new product introduction or health product market dynamics in LMIC is essential. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of the global health ecosystem, particularly with UNICEF and WHO, and experience managing complex health programs with multiple partners.

Educational Background:
An advanced degree in a relevant field such as medicine, pharmacy, or public health is required. A PhD is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's qualifications for the role.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant experience, particularly in areas related to access to health products, pharmaceutical policies, and strategies for product development and delivery in low and middle-income countries. Experience in navigating complex health programs and building coalitions among diverse partners is crucial.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent oral, written, and facilitation skills necessary to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not specified as mandatory.

Additional Notes:
This position is a limited-term role for 11 months, and relocation assistance is not provided. The salary range for this role is between $190,100 and $294,700 USD, with higher ranges for positions based in Seattle and Washington D.C. The organization emphasizes a balance between competitive pay and its mission-driven focus. New hires typically start within the range minimum and midpoint, depending on their skills and experience.
