Job Overview:
The Associate Program Officer for the Giving Pledge will play a crucial role in backend project support and management, specifically aimed at enhancing partner engagement within the Giving Pledge community. This position involves overseeing complex communications, implementing continuous process improvements for community management tools, and managing internal processes that support the rhythm of business. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Program Officer include:
  • Data Entry and Systems Maintenance: Manage and maintain data in Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and other databases.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects involving complex partner groups and overlapping timelines, proactively identifying conflicts and communicating them to leadership.
  • Communications and Administrative Support: Maintain an accurate and frequently changing communications calendar aligned with strategic objectives, manage alias accounts, draft key communications, and build monthly and quarterly mass mailings.
  • Administrative Support on Partner Engagement: Research and track partner interests, draft briefings for high-level meetings, and provide ad hoc project management support for events.
  • General Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day operational execution with a high degree of operational fluency and comfort with internal logistics and workflows.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel up to 10% of the time as required.

Prior experience working with donor communities, family philanthropy, or development administration is highly desirable.
