Job Overview:
The intern will work under the supervision of the International Stock Officer and will be responsible for various logistical tasks. The role involves contributing to the organization of transport logistics, including coordination with the travel office to establish schedules for appointments before departure, briefing on customs procedures, and preparing administrative transport and customs documents. The intern will also assist in stock management by processing stock requests, managing IT and telecommunications support, updating stock tracking tools, and ensuring the organization of storage spaces. Additionally, the intern will support international procurement management, participate in project management related to service optimization, and attend strategic meetings and workshops.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the organization of transport logistics by coordinating with the travel office, establishing schedules, and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Manage stock by processing requests, ensuring availability of supplies, and updating tracking tools.
  • Support international procurement management by preparing orders and managing shipments.
  • Participate in project management initiatives aimed at optimizing service delivery.
  • Attend meetings and workshops to contribute to strategic discussions and planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics and stock management.
  • Conduct regular inventories and ensure proper organization of storage spaces.
  • Provide assistance to the team in managing international freight and express shipments.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (Bac +3) in logistics, humanitarian project management, or possess equivalent experience. Proficiency in Excel is essential. Candidates should demonstrate autonomy and initiative, with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written English.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree (Bac +3) in logistics, humanitarian project management, or a related field is required. Candidates should be currently enrolled in a program that provides a convention de stage issued by a French educational institution.

Experience:
Candidates should have relevant experience in logistics or humanitarian project management, either through academic training or previous internships. Familiarity with stock management and logistics processes is advantageous.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages may be beneficial but is not required.

  • The internship is compensated at a rate of 4.57 euros net per hour, based on a 35-hour work week, with a total weekly working time of 38.75 hours. Interns are entitled to 21 days of RTT (pro-rated based on time spent in the organization) and will receive support for 50% of public transport costs. The position requires 100% on-site presence and involves prolonged sitting, oral communication, screen work, and telephone contacts.
