Job Overview: The Programme Associate position at UNICEF Poland's Refugee Response Office involves providing specialized programme and administrative support under the supervision of the Chief Child Protection. Duties and Responsibilities: The Programme Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Providing administrative support for the planning and implementation of child protection programmes.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and tracking expenditures to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Conducting data analysis to inform programme decisions and reporting on programme outcomes.
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Preparing reports and documentation for donors and partners, ensuring timely submission and adherence to guidelines.
Supporting the transition of programme responsibilities to national partners and ensuring proper documentation and knowledge management.
Engaging in capacity-building activities for local partners and stakeholders to enhance programme effectiveness.
Monitoring and evaluating programme activities to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of secondary education, with professional or university courses related to the field of work being highly desirable. Additionally, at least 6 years of relevant work experience in administrative or clerical roles is required. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with UNICEF's policies and procedures, particularly in relation to child protection, is an advantage.
