Duties and Responsibilities:
The Country Director will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including:
  • Leading the Country Office’s multi-year strategy, ensuring alignment with global priorities and national development agendas.

  • Embedding strategic foresight and adaptive leadership across teams to navigate complexities effectively.
  • Inspiring and leading a diverse team, fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Developing and implementing a diversified resource mobilization strategy, expanding beyond traditional institutional donors.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with government, multilateral agencies, philanthropy, civil society, and private sector partners.
  • Ensuring strong financial stewardship and compliance, overseeing risk management, safeguarding, security, and fraud mitigation systems.
  • Championing evidence-based, community-led programming that advances locally owned solutions and ensuring high standards of program quality, monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Country Director position must possess a robust set of qualifications, including:
