Job Overview:
The consultant will play a crucial role in the ASEAN Green Investment Catalyst (AGIC) project, which aims to enhance the capacity of Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) in ASEAN countries to attract investments in sustainable development sectors. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing a mentorship program that focuses on increasing the participation and leadership of women within IPAs. This position requires a strategic approach to stakeholder engagement, capacity-building, and the facilitation of mentorship sessions that foster collaboration among women in the investment promotion sector. The consultant will also contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the program, ensuring that it meets the objectives set forth by UN ESCAP and its donors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant's duties will include coordinating the mentorship program's activities, liaising with IPAs and relevant stakeholders, and identifying champions to drive engagement. The consultant will gather feedback from IPAs and women participants to identify priority areas and types of support that are most beneficial. They will facilitate mentorship sessions, peer-learning exchanges, and capacity-building activities, while also fostering networks among women in IPAs to promote mutual support and collaboration. Additionally, the consultant will provide substantive inputs for the development of the mentorship strategy, contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the program, and support the preparation of social media materials to document and share outcomes. The consultant will also be responsible for identifying and engaging additional donor resources for the execution of the mentorship program, particularly for in-person events.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Economics, International Relations, Environmental Studies, Gender Studies, Business, or a related field. Those with a Bachelor's degree may be considered if they have an additional two years of relevant work experience. A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in advisory roles, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement is required. Candidates should have extensive experience in women's economic empowerment, gender equality, and inclusive business practices within the context of international development. Proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder collaborations and strategic partnerships with various entities, including governments, UN agencies, and NGOs, is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate expertise in corporate social responsibility, private sector engagement, policy advocacy, fundraising, donor engagement, and resource mobilization.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Economics, International Relations, Environmental Studies, Gender Studies, or Business. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree will be considered if they have two additional years of work experience in a related area, indicating a strong foundation in the necessary academic disciplines to effectively contribute to the role.

Experience:
