Job Overview:
The Digital Impact Associate will perform a full range of procedural activities in support of ICT, ensuring effective communication with client departments and efficient support to ICT staff. This role includes providing first-level support for service requests, managing ICT incidents, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with lifecycle management. The associate will also be involved in minimal ICT administration, cybersecurity, and project support, contributing to the development and implementation of new systems and applications. The position requires a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to support organizational cybersecurity awareness initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level support for ICT service requests, including logging and processing requests.
  • Manage the lifecycle of ICT incidents using service management tools.
  • Support conferencing and audiovisual equipment as needed.
  • Maintain and update electronic and paper files, internal databases, and ICT inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with lifecycle management for mission-critical assets.
  • Assist in routine operation and monitoring of server systems.
  • Provide second-level user support and troubleshooting.
  • Extract data from databases and perform backups of servers.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives and respond to incidents. 1
  • Assist in the development and execution of ICT projects, providing guidance and training to junior staff.

Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of secondary education is required; professional or university courses in a relevant field are highly desirable.
  • A bachelor's degree may replace three years of related work experience; a master's degree may replace an additional two years.
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience in information technology, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Solid knowledge of ICT infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software.
  • Experience in drafting technical documentation and delivering user training.
  • Proficiency in ITIL standards and service ticketing support is essential.

Educational Background:
Completion of secondary education is required. Professional and/or university courses related to the field of work are highly desirable. A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in a relevant field may replace three years of related work experience, while a master's degree may replace an additional two years of experience.

Experience:
At least 6 years of relevant work experience in information technology is required, emphasizing practical experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving. Candidates should have solid knowledge of ICT infrastructure and experience in monitoring system usage and performance trends.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Arabic is required. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not mandatory.
