The intern will also assist in designing, planning, and executing social media campaigns, which includes monitoring and responding to audience engagement. Additionally, the intern will create editorial calendars for social media content, track engagement metrics, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. The role also involves producing multimedia content, such as videos and photos from UN Youth Office events, and supporting the organization of meetings, events, and other communication activities.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent) or be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher). While professional work experience is not required, applicants should have a field of study related to the internship. Proficiency in social media platforms, scheduling tools, and standard software applications, particularly Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, is essential. Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or CapCut, is highly desirable. Experience in youth engagement or related processes will be considered an asset.
Educational Background: The position requires candidates to be students in their final year of a bachelor's degree program or to have completed a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. program.
