Job Overview: The ESA Graduate Trainee position focuses on the development and tuning of an AI-supported knowledge database for the Ariane 6 launcher system. The position also includes conducting tests, supporting GUI development, and enriching the database with relevant technical information. This role is crucial for capitalizing on development experiences and identifying common technologies applicable to various launch systems, thereby supporting the overall exploitation of the Ariane 6 program.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the ESA Graduate Trainee include:
Benchmarking the AI RAG prototype to assess computation performance requirements and the adequacy of the solutions provided.
Implementing the AI RAG prototype within the ESA framework, ensuring adherence to security protocols and system performance standards.
Conducting tests to verify compliance with ESA requirements and documenting the outcomes.
Supporting the development of the graphical user interface (GUI) in collaboration with suppliers.
Enriching the initial database with relevant technical information based on predefined content.
Coordinating with the team for continuous enrichment of the database and keeping it updated on development and further exploitation.
Communicating with other ESA directorates to explore potential cooperation opportunities.
Contributing to the monitoring of Ariane 6 exploitation and identifying areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Flexibility, autonomy, curiosity, and a keen interest in technical domains are essential attributes. Previous experience working in international teams is considered an asset.
