Job Overview:
The Procurement and Administrative Support position is integral to the Department of State's Regional Strategic Assistance Section, specifically for the EpiC Thailand program. This role involves supporting procurement activities related to materials, parts, and equipment necessary for the program's operations, which focus on HIV Epidemic Control and Global Health security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security. The individual in this position will be responsible for submitting and processing purchase orders, monitoring costs and schedules, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the procurement process is efficient and effective, contributing to the overall success of the EpiC Thailand projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Procurement and Administrative Support position include collaborating with the EpiC Thailand team to facilitate the acquisition of goods and services, preparing and maintaining purchasing files and reports, developing bid specifications, and ensuring that procurement packages receive the necessary reviews and approvals. The individual will review requisition orders for accuracy, contact suppliers to manage deliveries, approve bills for payment, and maintain compliance with organizational and governmental regulations. Additionally, the role involves checking shipments, comparing prices and specifications, maintaining documentation of purchase orders, and assisting in the development of procurement operating procedures. The candidate will also interact with internal and external customers to ensure that purchasing activities meet compliance standards and will analyze quotations to recommend suppliers. Other responsibilities include supervising order preparation, obtaining delivery certifications, updating procurement trackers, and performing other administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for this position should possess a strong understanding of procurement processes and administrative support, typically requiring 3-5 years of relevant experience. A working knowledge of organizational policies and procedures related to procurement services is essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in Thai and English, and should be proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software. Problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail are critical for success in this role. Prior experience with U.S. Government-funded contracts and in non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is preferred, highlighting the importance of familiarity with the specific operational context of the EpiC Thailand program.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required for this position. Experience:
