Job Overview:
The E T Consultant position is situated within the Global Corporate Solutions (GCS) unit of the World Bank, which integrates various corporate functions to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. The consultant will report to the Manager of Innovation and Client Solutions and will work closely with the Change Management Lead. The primary focus of this role is to manage change management projects, ensuring that stakeholders are adequately prepared for changes that affect their work. The consultant will be responsible for identifying impacted individuals, mitigating risks, and providing clear guidance throughout the change process. This role is crucial in building change capability across GCS teams and ensuring that change initiatives align with project milestones and timelines. The consultant will also facilitate workshops and gather stakeholder feedback to refine rollout plans, all while adhering to the GCS change management philosophy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the E T Consultant include managing change management projects from planning through to adoption. This involves identifying impacted stakeholders, preparing them for upcoming changes, and addressing any concerns that may arise. The consultant will track progress, highlight risks, and ensure alignment with project timelines. Additionally, the consultant will support the development of reusable tools and guidance materials to enhance change capability across GCS teams. Facilitating workshops, briefings, and problem-solving sessions is also a key responsibility, as is synthesizing stakeholder input to improve rollout plans. The consultant will work in accordance with the GCS change management philosophy, which emphasizes support for individuals throughout the change process and collaboration with project teams.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree along with at least four years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional experience in managing or coordinating change management workstreams is essential, including skills in planning, stakeholder engagement, and progress tracking. Demonstrated experience in supporting organizational change initiatives is required, along with strong facilitation skills and the ability to translate complex information into practical guidance. Experience in multicultural environments and familiarity with the World Bank Group is preferred, as is a certification in change management such as Prosci.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field. This educational background should be complemented by at least four years of relevant professional experience, which may include roles in change management, organizational development, or related areas. Candidates with a combination of education and experience that demonstrates their capability to fulfill the role's requirements will also be considered.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in managing or coordinating change management initiatives. This experience should encompass planning, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to track progress effectively. Familiarity with organizational change processes and the ability to work in diverse, multicultural environments is highly valued. Previous experience within the World Bank Group or similar organizations is advantageous.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered a plus, although not explicitly required. Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective stakeholder engagement and project management.
