Duties and Responsibilities: The intern's responsibilities will include assisting in the planning and implementation of sustainable urbanization projects, focusing on housing, land use, and public service delivery. They will support the development of new projects at various levels, connecting research and data analysis with policy and action on sustainable urban development. Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: be enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher), be in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level), or have graduated with a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree. Candidates should be computer literate in standard software applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite. A keen interest in the work of the United Nations and a commitment to its ideals are essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate the ability to interact successfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and beliefs.
Educational Background: The preferred areas of study for applicants include Urban Studies, International Development, Urban Planning, Political and International Affairs, Climate Change, Environmental Sciences, Geography, Economics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Communications, or similar relevant fields.
