A recognized Fire Officer certification from a public authority or accredited body is essential, along with formal training in incident command at the Bronze level or equivalent. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of fire station operations and readiness management, as well as the ability to lead teams and make sound decisions under pressure in a multicultural environment.
Educational Background: A relevant educational background is required, including formal training as a Fire Officer or in related fields such as Emergency Management, Fire Science, or Public Safety. Experience: Candidates should have at least five years of experience as a Fire Officer in an urban, industrial, or large organized fire service. Proven operational command capability and sound knowledge of incident command systems are essential.
