Job Overview: The position of Project Coordinator for the Hopes project involves working under the supervision of the Advocacy Manager for Hunger and Conflicts and in collaboration with consortium partners funded by ECHO. The primary responsibilities include coordinating and implementing the project's focus on the criminalization of aid and misinformation. The role requires contributing to the definition of the strategy and establishing the modalities for implementing the project's axes. The coordinator will also be responsible for overseeing the project, ensuring internal communication, and representing the project externally. Additionally, managing project collaborators is a key aspect of this role, which requires a strong understanding of the project's themes, including sanctions, criminalization of aid, misinformation, and protection of humanitarian workers.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include:
Contributing to the definition of the project strategy and establishing implementation modalities.
Leading and coordinating the project effectively, ensuring all aspects are aligned with the overall goals.
Communicating internally with team members and stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and engaged.
Representing the project externally to partners, stakeholders, and at relevant forums.
Managing project collaborators, ensuring they are supported and their roles are clearly defined.
Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
Conducting research and information gathering related to the project themes.
Ensuring compliance with humanitarian principles and addressing any risks associated with the project.
Facilitating meetings and workshops to promote collaboration among consortium partners. 1

Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for this position include:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant fields, demonstrating a strong understanding of advocacy actions and strategies.
Proven experience in coordinating complex and sensitive projects in collaboration with partners while respecting project positioning and associated risks.
Strong knowledge of themes related to the project, including sanctions, criminalization of aid, misinformation, and protection of humanitarian workers.
Experience in conducting research and information collection is essential.
Previous humanitarian field experience is considered an asset.
Educational Background: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field such as political science, international solidarity, law, international law, or international cooperation. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of the issues addressed by the project and for effectively contributing to its goals.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in fields related to the project. This experience should include a strong background in advocacy, project coordination, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Familiarity with the themes of the project, such as sanctions and the criminalization of aid, is essential, as is experience in managing sensitive projects.

This is a full-time role based in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The salary ranges from €41,000 to €50,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Benefits include 25 days of annual leave and 21 RTT days, health coverage with 80% paid by ACF, salary maintenance provisions for illness, maternity, and paternity, transportation allowances covering 50% of the commuting costs, and meal vouchers with 60% covered by the organization. Remote work is permitted for all employees within metropolitan territory, with mandatory in-office presence required once a month and additional days for collective meetings and integration.
