Duties and Responsibilities: The Project Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the project. Key duties include: 1) Managing project administration and office operations, including processing entitlements, issuing contracts, and maintaining records. 2) Advising project staff on administrative rules and procedures. 3) Making travel arrangements and preparing travel authorizations. 4) Organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place. 5) Liaising with technical units at ILO Headquarters and other stakeholders to discuss project activities and resolve issues. 6) Preparing correspondence and reports, including confidential documents. 7) Monitoring project expenditures and ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines. 8) Supervising junior administrative staff and providing guidance as needed. 9) Performing other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a completion of secondary school education, along with training in general administration and office support. Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications, is required.
