Job Overview:
The Senior Manager, Scale Funding will play a crucial role in identifying and securing funding opportunities for transformational projects in global public health. This position is part of the Scale Fundraising team within PSI's Global Fundraising Department, which assists field-based programs in responding to donor requests for proposals. The Senior Manager will lead high-quality proposal development aligned with PSI's priorities, serve as an advisor on relevant funding areas, and contribute to the overall fundraising strategy. The role requires collaboration with colleagues globally and involves representing PSI externally to strengthen visibility and donor relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and soliciting funding opportunities, enhancing existing donor relationships, and leading proposal processes, ensuring that PSI's mission and goals are effectively communicated to potential funders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting funding opportunities to grow PSI's financial portfolio. This includes developing and enhancing relationships with existing donors and partners to increase their giving levels and alignment with PSI's priorities. The role involves leading partner and coalition identification and negotiations, as well as managing proposal processes. The Senior Manager will serve as the lead writer on select proposals, facilitate strategy discussions, and incorporate feedback from reviewers. Additionally, the incumbent will partner with the Senior Advisor II, Scale Lead, to develop and implement a fundraising strategy, establish goals and objectives, and track progress. The role also requires providing internal expertise on relevant funding areas and driving the use of best practices in fundraising processes. The Senior Manager will represent PSI with external audiences and facilitate donor interactions with program staff and senior leaders, embodying PSI's core values of measurement, pragmatism, honesty, trust, collaboration, and commitment. The position may require 10-25% international travel.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field, with a Master's Degree (or international equivalent) preferred. A minimum of 10 years of related experience is required, although an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build relationships with partners, governments, and donors, translating these into funding opportunities, preferably within a large international organization. Strong skills in managing complex proposals and fundraising opportunities, as well as the ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences, are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate strong writing, editing, reviewing, and research skills, along with excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities. In-depth knowledge of international development, global health, and relevant funding sources is crucial for success in this role.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with a Master's Degree preferred. The educational background should be relevant to the responsibilities of the role, ideally encompassing areas such as public health, international development, or a related discipline that supports the functions of the Senior Manager, Scale Funding.

Experience:
