Job Overview:
The position of Online Video Editor Volunteer involves collaborating with the social media team of the Southern Africa Embrace Foundation to produce high-quality videos intended for social media events and marketing campaigns. Volunteers will be responsible for editing one video per week, with each video typically being less than 10 minutes long. The editing process will include the incorporation of motion graphics, animations, and soundtracks to effectively convey impactful stories that resonate with the audience. The content for these videos will be provided by the social media team, ensuring that volunteers have the necessary materials to create engaging and informative videos. Additionally, selected volunteers must be available for weekly team meetings, which are scheduled for Wednesdays at 10 am EST, to discuss progress and collaborate with the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the social media team to understand the vision and objectives for each video project.
