Job Overview:
The position of Online Volunteer for Translation involves translating the Kazakhstan Sectoral Volunteering Brochure from Russian into English. This role is essential for ensuring that the content is accessible to a broader audience and aligns with the communication standards set by the NVN. The volunteer will be responsible for translating eight documents, each approximately 33 pages long. The majority of the content is consistent across these documents, with only one section differing in each version. This means that the volunteer will translate the full content once and then focus on the unique sections for the remaining documents. The translation must be clear, concise, and tailored to the target audience, ensuring that the essence of the original documents is preserved while making it comprehensible for English-speaking readers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate eight documents from Russian to English, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Focus on translating the unique sections of each document after the initial full translation.
• Adhere to the communication guidelines provided by NVN.
• Collaborate with NVN to understand the target audience and communication standards.
• Ensure that the translated content aligns with the objectives of promoting volunteerism in Kazakhstan.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the translation process if necessary.
• Maintain open communication with NVN for any clarifications or additional support needed during the translation process.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in both Russian and English, with strong translation skills.

Educational Background:
