Job Overview: The Senior Communications Specialist will play a crucial role in the Unit for Internal Communications (DCID-UIC) within the Department of Communications and Knowledge Management (DOCK) at ADB. This position is pivotal in ensuring that all internal stakeholders are well-informed and aligned with ADB's vision and goals. The specialist will lead the production of various internal communications materials, develop messaging and campaigns, and contribute to the governance of internal communications. Additionally, the specialist will manage digital communication platforms and support the integration of AI tools to improve internal communications. Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Communications Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: leading the production, editing, and dissemination of internal communications materials; developing internal messaging and campaigns; coordinating with various departments to align internal messages; planning and executing HQ-based events involving ADB Management; contributing to the development and management of corporate digital communication platforms; supporting crisis and incident internal communications; managing the recruitment and performance reviews of internal communications consultants; and performing other related tasks as assigned by the Director, DCID. The specialist will also be expected to analyze engagement metrics to optimize internal campaigns and contribute to the ongoing improvements in the integration of AI-powered tools across the ADB Intranet.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Senior Communications Specialist position must possess a Master's Degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, International Development, or related fields. Alternatively, a university degree combined with at least 5 years of specialized experience relevant to the position may be considered.
