Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is situated within the Development and Communication department, which consists of 10 members. The intern will report directly to the Campaigns, Mobilization, and Visibility Officer and will support the Communication and Engagement Service in developing institutional and thematic communication campaigns through a multichannel approach. The role also involves managing communication partnerships and external events aimed at enhancing the visibility, reputation, and resource development of the NGO. The intern will gain insights into the functioning of an international NGO and the challenges of communication, visibility, and fundraising, while applying their communication skills and project management abilities in a supportive and engaged team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the intern include supporting communication campaigns by providing operational assistance in their implementation, which involves monitoring, benchmarking, researching spaces, following up with service providers/agencies, and managing timelines. The intern will contribute to briefs, creative strategies, and content production while adhering to the graphic charter. They will also track multichannel dissemination, campaign performance, and reporting metrics. Additionally, the intern will participate in brainstorming sessions, propose communication actions, and research and manage media partnerships, influencers, and content creators. They will assist in organizing and following up on events, including coordination, planning, and budgeting, and will contribute to internal communication by preparing campaign reports and managing content. The intern will also respond to external information requests via a dedicated email.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a higher education degree (Master's level, Bac +4/5) in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Strategic Planning, Information Communication, or Media Economics from a recognized communication or business school. A prior professional experience through internships or apprenticeships in communication, either on the client side or in an agency, is mandatory. Experience in developing and managing communication campaigns is highly desirable, regardless of the sector (private, public, or non-profit). A genuine interest in the humanitarian sector, NGOs, and development is essential, although prior experience in this field is not required. The ideal candidate should demonstrate creativity, rigor, organization, curiosity, autonomy, and the ability to manage stress and deadlines, along with excellent writing and speaking skills.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree (Bac +4/5) in relevant fields such as Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Strategic Planning, Information Communication, or Media Economics. Candidates from recognized institutions such as ISCOM, Sup de Pub, CELSA, NEOMOA, SKEMA, or EM Lyon are preferred. This educational foundation is crucial for understanding the complexities of communication within an NGO context.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have prior professional experience, specifically through internships or apprenticeships in communication roles. This experience should ideally include involvement in the development and management of communication campaigns, which is highly valued. While experience in the humanitarian sector is not mandatory, a strong interest in this area is essential for success in the role.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position, as it is essential for communication and collaboration within the international context of the NGO. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not specified as mandatory.

Additional Notes:
The internship is set to begin on March 2, 2026, and will last for a duration of 6 months. The position is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL in Clichy-la-Garenne, Ile-de-France, France. Remote work is permitted for 4 to 12 days per month. Occasional travel may be required for meetings or professional lunches, as well as events related to campaign launches. The intern will receive a legal stipend of 15% of the hourly social security ceiling, calculated based on actual hours worked. Transportation costs will be covered at 50% by SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL, and meal vouchers worth €8.90 per day will be provided, with a 60% contribution from the organization.
