The primary goal of this internship is to support PSP Canada in enhancing its engagement with the Quebec fundraising market, particularly in the Montreal area. Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: supporting the Senior PSP Officer in the development and execution of fundraising strategies tailored to the Quebec market; assisting in building and strengthening relationships with existing French-speaking donors through personalized engagement; coordinating and supporting the planning, logistics, and execution of fundraising events in Montreal; conducting prospect research to identify potential French-speaking individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners; translating, adapting, and localizing donor-facing materials and outreach content into French; engaging French-speaking donor prospects through direct outreach and personalized communications; providing timely communication to donors and prospects; gathering and analyzing insights on Quebec’s fundraising landscape; maintaining and updating donor databases; drafting donor correspondence and impact reports; and collaborating with the national team to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree or a college degree in progress, having completed at least two years of study, or have completed their degree within the last 24 months. A degree in Communications, Marketing, or International Development is considered an asset. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to work efficiently under deadlines, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, and knowledge of or experience in database entry/management is an asset. Fluency in both written and spoken French and English is mandatory.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this internship includes a university degree or a college degree in progress, with a minimum of two years of study completed. Candidates who have completed their degree within the last 24 months are also eligible.
