Job Overview:
The Senior Communications and Administrative Support position is designed to provide high-level administrative, secretarial, and communications support to the management team of the Cambodia Country Office. The role requires maintaining confidentiality and ensuring effective communication flows between the Representative, Assistant Representative, and other staff members. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing documentation, managing schedules, and facilitating knowledge management within the office. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the strategic, programmatic, and operational priorities of UNFPA in Cambodia, contributing to the overall mission of the organization by ensuring that communications and administrative functions are executed efficiently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include ensuring optimal communication flows between the Representative, Assistant Representative, and management team, as well as external counterparts. The candidate will be responsible for preparing documentation and presentations, including correspondence, briefs, and reports, and will need to research and collate materials for official trips and meetings. Logistical arrangements for meetings and workshops will also be part of the role, along with managing the calendars of the Representative and Assistant Representative. The position requires hosting high-ranking visitors, managing travel arrangements, and assisting with political/environmental scanning. Additionally, the candidate will maintain key contact lists, manage filing protocols, and provide support for corporate initiatives and strategic planning documents.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires completed Secondary Level Education as a minimum, with a first-level university degree being desirable. Candidates should have at least six years of relevant experience in administration and/or research, demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Proficiency in current office software applications is essential, along with good written and verbal communication skills. The role demands a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes completed Secondary Level Education as a minimum requirement. A first-level university degree is considered desirable, indicating that candidates with higher education qualifications may have an advantage in the selection process.

Experience:
Candidates should possess a minimum of six years of relevant experience in administration and/or research. This experience should demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in office software applications. The role requires a candidate who can manage multiple tasks effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment.

Languages:
Fluency in Khmer and English is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate effectively in a diverse work environment.
