Job Overview:
The Senior Communications and Administrative Support position is crucial for providing high-level administrative, secretarial, and communications support to the Cambodia Country Office management team. The role involves maintaining confidentiality in all assignments, managing protocol procedures, ensuring effective information flow, and following up on deadlines and commitments. The successful candidate will report directly to the Representative or the Officer in Charge and will be responsible for facilitating knowledge management, providing logistical support, and coordinating secretarial services. This position requires a proactive approach to promote a client-oriented, quality, and results-oriented environment, ensuring that the Representative and management team can effectively monitor and implement UNFPA programs. The role also includes preparing documentation for official meetings, managing calendars, and supporting high-ranking visitors, thereby playing a vital role in the office's operational success.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Communications and Administrative Support include ensuring optimal communication flows between the Representative, the Assistant Representative, management, and staff, as well as external counterparts. The candidate will respond to information requests in a timely and discreet manner, prepare documentation and presentations, and undertake logistical arrangements for meetings and workshops. They will manage the calendars of the Representative and Assistant Representative, facilitate equipment setup for meetings, screen calls, and manage travel arrangements. Additionally, the candidate will assist with political/environmental scanning, maintain key contacts lists, and support the Management Team with administrative and coordination tasks. The role also involves consolidating updates on UN-wide changes, managing the office filing protocol, and providing support for corporate initiatives and strategic planning.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires completed Secondary Level Education as a minimum, with a first-level university degree being desirable. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, proficiency in current office software applications, and good written and verbal communication skills. The role demands a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
