Duties and Responsibilities: The intern's duties will include a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the UNIC Prague's communication efforts. These tasks may involve: assisting in maintaining UNIC's digital communication channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; adapting social media assets using Canva; designing and posting engaging content for Instagram and Facebook stories; subtitling videos for social media; editing and adapting content for the UNIC Prague website; maintaining a database of social media visuals and other graphical elements using Trello; managing the UNIC contact database with tools like MS Excel and Mailchimp; translating and editing materials between English and Czech; organizing public events such as educational programs, seminars, conferences, street festivals, and job fairs; conducting media monitoring; responding to public inquiries and managing media communications; handling logistics and administrative tasks; and performing secretariat functions including managing incoming mail, phone calls, and emails.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: (a) be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or (b) be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
