Job Overview:
The Delivery Data Analyst/Sr. Data Analyst position at the IMF is a critical role within the IT Department, specifically under the direction of the Deputy Unit Chief for Lending and Corporate Services. This position is integral to the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) team, focusing on delivering comprehensive analytic solutions. The role encompasses collaboration with Product and Platform Owners to design data warehouse solutions, develop reports and dashboards for corporate data, and manage service provider resources to ensure effective system delivery. The successful candidate will leverage a combination of strong computer science skills, particularly in data engineering, to provide integrated solutions that address both technological and quantitative modeling needs. The position demands a proven ability to deliver complex financial and analytic solutions, alongside strong technical skills in data warehousing and Azure Cloud Administration, as well as a solid business background in Data Governance tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Delivery Data Analyst/Sr. Data Analyst include collaborating with business partners and integrated team members to develop solution designs for BI and analytics applications. The role involves translating business reporting and analytical requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment between business needs and data modeling. The analyst will lead the transformation of Managed Service Providers to ensure the delivery of data-driven solutions and will be responsible for developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and programming languages such as Fortran, Python, and R. Additionally, the analyst will research and analyze requests, design algorithms to enhance performance, and communicate the capabilities of the data warehouse to stakeholders. The position also requires conducting complex database queries, integrating data from multiple sources, and ensuring data quality compliance based on established governance frameworks. The analyst will support the processing of various data types to derive insights and will utilize the Fund-selected Metadata Management tool, Collibra, to enhance data governance capabilities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a relevant field, along with a minimum of four years of post-graduation professional experience. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree with at least ten years of post-graduation professional experience is acceptable. Required competencies include knowledge of .NET programming and Unix administration, as well as 4 to 6 years of technical architect experience related to Azure Cloud Administration. Candidates should demonstrate technical expertise in enterprise data management, data warehousing, and BI reporting, with proficiency in key data warehouse components such as Azure SQL, DataStage, TM1, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Office365, and Oracle databases. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-experts.

Educational Background:
