The candidate will foster partnerships with national stakeholders, particularly in the extractive, agribusiness, and finance sectors, while continuing to build on existing partnerships related to business and human rights. Additionally, the role involves coordinating activities with various international organizations, monitoring relevant national developments regarding responsible business conduct, and providing capacity-building support to national stakeholders, especially those within the Justice System. The candidate will also be responsible for creating relevant materials on responsible business conduct and business and human rights as needed.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a High School Diploma as a minimum qualification, with a degree in Law, Human Rights, or a related field being desirable. An advanced degree in Human Rights, International Public Law, or a similar discipline is also preferred. Education focused on Human Rights and Business is considered an asset. Candidates must demonstrate at least 10 years of relevant experience in the field of Business and Human Rights, with meaningful experience in the national context and regional capacity-building initiatives being highly desirable.
Educational Background: Candidates should possess a High School Diploma as a baseline requirement. A degree in Law, Human Rights, or a related field is desirable, while an advanced degree in Human Rights, International Public Law, or similar areas is preferred.
