Job Overview:
The Project Team Member will play a crucial role in the implementation of the 'Helios+: Comprehensive actions for the integration of third-country nationals into the labour market' project in the Region of Attica. This position involves close collaboration with national and local authorities, as well as experienced partners, to promote the integration of beneficiaries of international protection and temporary protection into Greek society. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the project team in various capacities, including coordination, organization of workloads, and ensuring a safe working environment. The role requires a proactive approach to monitoring project activities, developing methodologies, and ensuring quality service delivery. The Project Team Member will also be involved in reporting to senior management and representing the project in meetings with stakeholders, thereby enhancing synergies and joint actions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Project Team Member include supporting the supervisor in coordinating the work of the assigned project team, organizing workloads, providing guidance and support to team members, and ensuring a safe and equipped working environment. The candidate will perform checks and approve the enrollment of beneficiaries in the project, assist in donor reporting, and support the development of methodologies and tools for project implementation. Monitoring the quality of services and project activities through physical verification and reporting to senior management is essential. The Project Team Member will also collect, verify, and update data, communicate with other project components and relevant actors, and represent the project in meetings as needed. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a combination of knowledge, education, training, and experience to perform the essential functions of the position. A valid driver’s license with at least five years of driving experience is considered an advantage. Strong work ethics and a commitment to humanitarian principles are essential. The candidate should demonstrate computer literacy in standard software applications and possess the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a High School Diploma with a minimum of three years of relevant working experience, or a University degree in psychology, social work, law, sociology, social anthropology, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with at least one year of work experience. A Master’s degree in the aforementioned fields will be considered an advantage. Accredited universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database, ensuring that candidates have received a recognized and quality education.

Experience:
The position requires at least one year of previous work experience, preferably in a multi-cultural environment. Candidates should have experience in project implementation, monitoring, and reporting, as well as familiarity with the integration of third-country nationals into the labor market. Experience in humanitarian or development contexts is highly valued, as it aligns with IOM's mission and objectives.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Greek is required for this position, both oral and written. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly IOM's official languages such as French and Spanish, is considered a plus. Language proficiency will be evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments to ensure candidates meet the communication requirements of the role.

This position is subject to local recruitment, and only candidates holding a valid residence and work permit for Greece will be eligible for consideration. The appointment will be contingent upon certification of medical fitness, verification of residency, visa, and necessary authorizations by the concerned government.
