Job Overview: The Programme Management Officer will play a crucial role in delivering the branch's work program, focusing on domestic resource mobilization and infrastructure asset management. This position requires the incumbent to engage in various activities, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of assigned programs and projects. The officer will monitor and analyze program/project development, identify issues, and propose corrective actions. The role also involves providing substantive support for policy analysis, research, and capacity development initiatives related to sustainable development. The officer will conduct consulting assignments, facilitate workshops, and assist clients in managing change. Additionally, the officer will prepare written outputs, support meetings and conferences, and coordinate budget-related activities. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Programme Management Officer include:
Participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of assigned programs/projects; monitoring and analyzing their progress; reviewing relevant documents and reports; identifying problems and proposing corrective actions.
Providing substantive support for policy analysis, research, and capacity development initiatives in infrastructure asset management.
Conducting consulting assignments, facilitating workshops, and assisting clients in developing action plans.
Researching, analyzing, and presenting information from diverse sources.
Assisting in policy development and preparing evaluations or research activities.
Undertaking survey initiatives and designing data collection tools.
Preparing various written outputs, including background papers, reports, and publications.
Supporting consultative meetings and conferences, including proposing agenda topics and preparing documents.
