Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will be responsible for supporting the Data Unit in various tasks, including but not limited to: conducting integrated analysis of data related to country risks and crisis developments; assisting in the production of GIS maps for operational and strategic purposes; collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and project execution; participating in meetings and discussions to provide insights based on data analysis; and contributing to the overall goals of the UNOCC by supporting cross-pillar analysis and decision-making processes.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong collaborative skills, reliability, and effective communication abilities. A background in relevant coursework is essential, particularly in areas such as GIS, remote sensing, cartography, visualization, spatial analysis, modeling, geospatial programming, and geospatial data management.
