Job Overview:
The security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Systems Maintenance Coordinator will play a crucial role in the Security and Safety section of the ITER Organization. This position is centered around coordinating the maintenance of various security systems, including Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are produced according to the project schedule and budget while adhering to a quality-assured environment. The role requires a systematic approach to work and a commitment to developing skills and experience that will benefit the ITER project. The Security and Safety section is tasked with ensuring occupational health and safety, security, and protection against potential threats, all while complying with the regulations of the Host State. Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Security Systems Maintenance Coordinator include coordinating and ensuring the maintenance of physical protection equipment and security systems at the ITER Organization. This involves managing maintenance contracts related to security systems, ensuring effective coordination with service providers and internal stakeholders, and maintaining the technical consistency and performance of these systems. The coordinator will be responsible for keeping all technical and operational documentation up to date, preparing technical reports, and supervising daily technical operations. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the design, qualification, installation, integration, commissioning, and maintenance of new security systems, as well as identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in security systems maintenance. The position requires flexibility as it may involve shift work and on-call duties to ensure continuous operations and high service levels for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Essential qualifications for this position include a comprehensive experience in managing and maintaining security systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems. The candidate must have experience in administering security system servers and equipment, identifying risks, particularly in cybersecurity, and proposing effective mitigation measures. Project management skills are essential, including planning, monitoring, and managing projects and contracts, as well as risk and cost management. The candidate should also possess troubleshooting skills to analyze problems and implement effective solutions. A strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the ability to propose changes for continuous improvement are also required. A French security clearance is mandatory for this position.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, with a specialization in security, control systems, electronics, or a related technical discipline. In cases where the educational requirements are not met, extensive professional experience in similar roles or additional training certificates in relevant domains may be considered as substitutes for the required degree.

Experience:
Candidates should have substantial experience in managing and maintaining security systems, particularly in the context of physical protection and safety. This includes a proven track record in project management, risk assessment, and the implementation of security-driven solutions. Experience in communicating and implementing innovative procedures for security systems maintenance is also desirable, as is familiarity with organizational dynamics and optimizing work processes for efficiency and productivity.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not explicitly required.

Additional Notes:
The position offers an initial employment contract of up to five years, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. The role is classified at Job Grade G5, and candidates should be prepared for shift work and on-call responsibilities, which may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. A valid driving license in France is required for those expected to perform on-call or shift work, as no commuting vehicle will be provided by the ITER Organization.
