Job Overview:
The Visa Application Services Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the streamlining of visa application services specifically for German family reunification, resettlement, and evacuation caseloads. This position is pivotal in ensuring quality control and compliance within the FAP Programme. The successful candidate will work closely with the National Programme Coordinator to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and will be responsible for monitoring visa applications and FAP activities on a day-to-day basis. The role requires a proactive approach to compliance activities, project monitoring, evaluation, and training, ensuring that all operations align with the established guidelines and standards. The coordinator will also be involved in data management, ensuring accurate collection and reporting of information, and will oversee the provision of correct information and completion of application forms. This position demands strong organizational skills and the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders, including UN agencies and the German Embassy/Consulate, to facilitate the management of vulnerable applicants and expedite appointments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Visa Application Services Coordinator include but are not limited to: supporting the streamlining of visa application services for various caseloads; acting as the quality control and compliance focal point for the FAP Programme; assisting in the development and implementation of SOPs; overseeing compliance activities in operations; conducting project monitoring and evaluation; providing training and support; ensuring accurate data collection and reporting; managing applicants' case files and medical records; overseeing the organization and scheduling of appointments; liaising with serviced units; preparing statistical and thematic reports; conducting regular quality checks of case files; ensuring capacity building of Programme Associates; providing logistical and administrative support; and performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree or equivalent in Business Management, Client Services, Social Science, Engineering Science, or a related discipline with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a High School diploma with six years of relevant experience is acceptable. Previous work experience in international organizations and service industry companies is considered an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is essential, along with strong interpersonal and intercultural skills and attention to detail.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in a relevant field such as Business Management, Client Services, Social Science, or Engineering Science. Candidates with a High School diploma must have additional years of relevant experience to qualify for the role. The educational qualifications should align with the responsibilities of managing visa applications and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in a related field if they hold a university degree, or six years of relevant experience if they possess a High School diploma. Experience in international organizations or service industry companies is highly desirable, as it provides the necessary background for understanding the complexities of migration and visa processes.

Languages:
Fluency in English, Kurdish, and Arabic is mandatory for all applicants, both oral and written. Proficiency in IOM's official languages, which include English, French, and Spanish, is also beneficial and will be evaluated during the selection process. Language skills will be assessed through written and/or oral assessments to ensure candidates meet the communication requirements of the position.
